RALEIGH, N.C. -- If you haven't already you might want to buy a Powerball ticket.
The jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is at $317 million, the largest in the game in a year.
The jackpot grew after the 18th straight drawing without a perfect ticket. The winner would beat the odds of 1 in 175 million and would claim 30 annuity payments or a one-time payout of $220.6 million.
The North Carolina Education Lottery is still waiting for two winners to claim $1 million. The tickets was sold in Charlotte for the Dec. 24 drawing and Cherryville for the Jan. 28 drawing. The winning ticket holders have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
