GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: Power has been restored.
Thousands of residents are without power near the New Garden Road area in Greensboro, according to the Duke Energy outage map.
Approximately 3,300 people are without power. The estimated time of restoration is set for 7 p.m.
