WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Update: Police said Margaret Epps, 86, has been found safe.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing woman in Winston-Salem.
Winston-Salem police issued a missing endangered alert for Margaret Epps, 86.
Police said she was last seen wearing dark blue jeans and a purple coat in the 500 Block of Northwest Boulevard.
Officers believe Epps is traveling on foot.
Police said Epps suffers from cognitive impairments.
