Missing Burlington teen has been located safe, police say

BURLINGTON, N.C. — UPDATE: The Burlington Police Department says Victoria Varner has been located safe and is in good health.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing teen in Burlington.

Burlington police said they received a report stating Victoria Varner, 15, originally from Lexington and currently living in Burlington for the past week, is missing.

Officers said Varner was last seen walking away from Alamance Regional Medical Center located at 1240 Huffman Mill Road Wednesday around 8 p.m.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie (with a butterfly embroidered on the back), black sweatpants and tan sandals.

Police said Varner is reported to suffer from mental health conditions increasing her risks of being hurt or injured.
