WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A road is closed in Winston-Salem after a crash downed a power pole Wednesday.
Winston-Salem police said Patterson Avenue is closed between N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and N. Liberty Street.
Officers said the road is expected to reopen later Wednesday once repairs have been made.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
