Greensboro, NC -- Pamela Hoy's mothers just wants to know who killed her only daughter, and why.Micki Mitchell had five boys, and only one girl."She was the oldest of six. She had all the boys wrapped around her little finger."Her mom says Pamela loved animals all her life."She gave her daddy and I a trip to New York to see her show a dog up there."At the time of her murder in 1990, Pamela had moved out of the Alamance home she had shared with her husband Fred and their two daughters."She'd come up here to live, and she'd go back and check on the children every night."Micki has watched her family grow over the years. She's a great-grandmother now. But it's been hard not to have Pamela there to celebrate with."I think I miss her coming by, or calling. She did it quite often."She's also missing the answers that would give her some closure."You wonder why they couldn't find something."This new search has renewed her hope."To know that you're still working on it, that you haven't forgotten about it."After all this time, Micki still believes her daughter's killer will be caught."I just hope they have some new leads and some new equipment so they can get some closure to it."16 years is a long time to wait."To find out who did it, and ask them why.
