WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A woman is dead after an apartment fire on Piedmont Circle Drive in Winston-Salem, fire crews say.
Winston-Salem Fire identified the woman as Paulette Sanders, 61.
They said the call came in around 3:42 a.m. and the woman lived alone.
Crews are on the scene investigating the fire and identifying the victim.
