GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said a woman has died after a shooting on McKnight Mill Road early Monday morning.
Officers received a call that someone was lying in the middle of the road around 3:45 a.m. When police arrived, they said they found a victim with a serious gunshot wound.
After an investigation, police identified 32-year-old Shaneta Allen as the victim of this shooting.
Greensboro police said Allen died from her injuries.
All eastbound and westbound lanes of McKnight Mill Road at 16th Street were closed pending the investigation.
