THOMASVILLE, N.C. — The Thomasville Traffic Safety Unit is investigating a two-car accident resulting in a fatality on U.S. 29 south.
The accident happened on Sunday at 03:45 am.
Thomasville officers responded to U.S. 29 south near National Highway in reference to a crash involving two cars. A 2020 Fiat 500 and a 2014 Chevy Corvette were both traveling south on U.S. 29 when they collided.
The driver of the Fiat, 24-year-old Jasmine Junious, and passengers, 25-year-old Kierra Carter, and 23-year-old Ashley Burdette are all from High Point.
They were taken to High Point Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Corvette, 33-year-old Marcus Mobley Bratton from Salisbury died on scene. The accident is still under investigation.
