WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man is dead, and another is injured after a shooting on Goldfloss Street in Winston-Salem, according to police.
Officers said they responded to a shooting around 8 p.m. Thursday when they found 19-year-old Shannon Howard James Pitts suffering from gunshot wounds.
Pitts died from his injuries.
Officers also found 18-year-old Zyair Sebastian Mcnairy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
This investigation is ongoing.
