In the email, it explains the settlement deals with Facebook possibly having access to patients' MyChart data like contact information, appointment dates, IP addresses, and menu selections.
Patients from 2020 to 2022 are eligible.
2 Wants To Know talked with one of the court-appointed attorneys to verify the settlement email and to find out how much money you could get.
Scott Harris, Senior Partner with Milberg, Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman wrote in an email:
The case is real, and they will get money. At this time, we do not know the exact amount until after all of the claims are made, but they will receive money if they fill out the claim form.
