Northeast Stokes Volunteer Fire & Rescue responds to vehicle fire on Saturday morning

The fire station said crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and the occupants of the vehicle were not injured.

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — A vehicle fire happened on Saturday morning, according to the Northeast Stokes Volunteer Fire & Rescue (Station 36)

Crews responded to the vehicle fire around 10:30 a.m. The fire station said the vehicle fire happened on Troy Joyce Road.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

The occupants of the vehicle were not injured, according to the fire station. 

Northeast Stokes Volunteer Fire & Rescue said they were assisted by the Stokes Rockingham Fire & Rescue (Station 37).
