DANBURY, N.C. — Danbury residents are without running water on Friday.
Town council member Steven Shelton said he spoke with the public works director who confirmed there are two major water main breaks on both ends of town.
Crews are currently working to fix the problem.
Stokes County EMS said water should be restored by 7 p.m.
The Stokes County Sheriff's Office posted to its Facebook page that its administrative office is closed because of the water main break.
