New Wine And Beer Bar Opens In Downtown Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A new bar opened in downtown Winston-Salem this week.

Corks, Caps, and Taps celebrated their grand opening Tuesday at 626 West Fourth Street between Skippy's and powerhouse brewery Foothills.

The shop has 24 beers on tap as well as craft beers by the bottle. Beers on tap include North Carolina craft beers such as Fullstream, Beer Army, and Mother Earth. The business is home to about 100 wines with about 15 percent of their selection being North Carolina wines.

Foods such as meats and cheese are also available. Weekly wine tastings are planned each Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Corks, Caps, and Taps is open from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to midnight Friday.
