GREENSBORO, N.C. — 2 Wants To Know got back $5,313 for folks in the month of May. that's a pretty good chunk of change. How did that happen? We have a group of volunteers working in the Call For Action office. These volunteers make calls and send emails all to help viewers just like you resolve your consumer issue with a business or company.
The Call For Action group can be contacted by phone at 336-379-5618. These volunteers are here at the station every Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm. You can call and talk to them one-on-one about your consumer issue. You can also fill out a Complaint Form online here.
What kinds of issues can Call For Action help with? Here are some examples:
*Maybe you ordered something and paid for it but it never came and you want a refund.
*You may have an appliance under warranty, but the company isn't fixing it.
Just recently, a Greensboro woman had a case where her water was bubbling up in her sinks and bathrooms. The reason why included a string of internet cables in her sewer lines. She tried for months to get the company to come to fix the issue. Then she got in touch with Call For Action.
"Without you guys, I would have been going back and forth. You all were able to help me and more than what I realized," said Qumara Lee.
Here's what you need to know, you need paperwork to prove your case, that's receipts, estimates, the warranty, an invoice, emails, or text messages.
