NCDOT To Install Road Signs In Forsyth Co.

Drivers should use I-40 instead of U.S. 421/I-40 Business.

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. -- The North Carolina Department of Transportation will begin to install road signs along U.S. 421/I-40 Business In Forsyth County.

Road crews will close a lane on U.S. 421/I-40 Business East near the N.C. 66 exit in Kernersville. Crews will also work on the shoulder as part of the Macy Grove Road Interchange Project. The project should be complete in October.

Work will begin on Friday, June 5 at 8:30 p.m. and should be completed by Wednesday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m. Crews will also alternate closing both the left and right lanes while working on the project.

Drivers should use I-40 instead of U.S. 421/I-40 Business.
