GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's been nothing but a packed Friday night at Rody's Tavern. A sea of Carolina blue and Wolfpack fans showed up supporting their teams.
Many say the restaurant is their first choice when they're coming out to watch a game.
"This is the place to rock," Jeanie Krulish said.
Whether a UNC fan or NC State fan excitement was the number one feeling tonight at Rody's Tavern watching the two teams play in the semifinals.
Jeanie Krulish and Cyndi Lampart have been Tarheel fans all their life. Their whole family enjoys wearing Carolina blue.
"Everybody in our family and if they don't they out," Jeanie Krulish said.
Buddies Jonathan Martin, Chad Barber, and Richie Rhew are also Tarheel fans.
"We've started watching the games all together three or four years ago and Rody's is a good spot here, neutral for everybody," Martin said.
NC State fans came out to show their love for the Wolfpack. Davis Baugh and Hawkins Bryan joined a large group of friends at the sports bar. Baugh said his love for the Wolfpack came from his parents.
"Both my parents went to state, graduated from State so I've been a state fan my whole life growing up mainly going to football games, basketball games," Baugh said.
Whether you root for Carolina or NC State, both fans can agree watching their teams compete in the semifinals makes them proud to come out and represent.
