Emergency crews are working on a natural gas leak in Mebane.

MEBANE, N.C. — Emergency crews are on the scene of a natural gas leak in Mebane on Monday, according to city officials.

They said it happened on the 600 block of South Fifth Street. 

Dominion Energy and the Mebane NC Fire Department advised everyone to avoid the area until 4:30 p.m. for their safety.
