RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A man is missing out of Randolph County, the sheriff's office says.

They received a report that 43-year-old Craig Wesley Cox was missing. He was last seen in the Craven Branch Road Siler City (Coleridge area) area on Feb. 12 around 7:30 a.m.

He was wearing a tan coat, blue jeans, and cowboy boots. He left driving a four-door white 2007 Ford F-150 truck and he doesn't have a cell phone.

Cox is approximately 5'11", 210 pounds, with blue eyes, a brown beard, and curly light brown hair, and suffers from a cognitive disability, that may prevent him from seeking help from people he is unfamiliar with or law enforcement.

Investigators have verified that Cox entered the state of Texas on Feb. 13 and crossed the border into Mexico. After a brief visit to Mexico, Cox re-entered the United States driving the 2007 Ford F-150 and traveling north towards San Antonio.

They believe the car Cox is driving was last known to be in the Tuscaloosa, AL area on Feb.13, as well as Feb. 15.

No further locations have been made available to law enforcement regarding the car or tag since February 15.

Cox has been entered into NAMUS (National Missing and Unidentified Persons System) and is reported as a missing person nationwide.

The sheriff's office said BOLOs have been sent out to Alabama law enforcement agencies in an attempt to make them aware that Cox may be in their area.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of the person listed is asked to call 911, or the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at 336-318-6698.
