FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. -- After the Amber Alert issued for a missing 15-year-old girl from Winston-Salem was canceled, deputies charged two men in connection with her disappearance.

On Friday, 15-year-old Cassidy Bottoms and 20-year-old Joffee Lee Cutler were located in Sanford around 9 p.m. by the Sanford Police Department.

Cutler is facing multiple charges, including kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Earlier in the week, authorities were looking to find Bottoms, who they said ran away from her home in the 800 block of Old Hollow Road with two men, 24-year-old Deshawn Dante Townes and Cutler.

Townes turned himself into police Thursday afternoon in Sanford. Townes is charged with one felony count of restraint.

Bottoms was returned to her family, deputies say.
