WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Many items once owned by Dr. Maya Angelou could soon be yours.
Thursday, Laster's Fine Art & Antiques will host a sale at the late poet's house in Winston-Salem. The item's up for sale include artwork, books, furniture and other items from her house.
The sale starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 6th.
Her house is at 2716 Bartram Road in Winston-Salem.
Angelou died May 28, 2014 at 86 years old. She played a big role in Civil Rights and the arts.
Dr. Angelou's art collection was sold at auction in the spring.
