KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A man is dead after being hit by a car in Kernersville on Wednesday, June 26, according to the Kernersville Police Department.
Police responded to call of a reported pedestrian being hit by a car.
Edward Junior Lowery was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, Lowery died from his injuries on Monday, July 1, according to police.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
This is the Kernersville Police Department’s first traffic death of 2024.
