GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is dead after a hit-and-run on West Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro, police say.
Officers said on Dec. 1, just after 2 a.m., they responded to a hit-and-run crash.
Abdhul Ouedraogo, 31, was driving west on West Gate City Blvd. and Alejandro Martir Del-Angel, 56, was walking on the same road.
The front right corner of Ouedraogo's car hit Del-Angel, propelling him forward. Del-Angel was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Ouedraogo did not stay on the scene but called in the incident a short time later.
This investigation is ongoing as charges are forthcoming.
