THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Davidson County leaders say a rabid fox attacked someone in Thomasville.
The health department says someone was doing yard work near Motsinger Road when the fox attacked him late last week.
A neighbor killed the fox and called the health department. The animal tested positive for rabies.
The person who was bit received treatment for the virus.
