ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — A man is behind bars in connection to an Amber Alert that was sent out early Easter morning in Robeson County.
Deputies arrested Earl Locklear, who's accused of taking a 2-year-old from a relative's house. They say Locklear was caught shortly after a foot chase near the place where the kidnapping happened.
The child was returned safely to the family.
Deputies say he does have a connection to the family, which is how the deputies say he does have a connection to the family, which is how he was able to get the child.
He is facing several charges and is being held with no bond.
