WINSTON-SALEM, NC (WFMY) -- After a temporary closure in response to Florence, the NC Zoo reopened Tuesday and is now offering a deal to evacuees -- FREE ADMISSION!
The deal is good Tuesday through Friday September 21, Evacuees must identify themselves as an evacuee at the admissions gate and provide proof of residency in either North or South Carolina for free entry for a party up to six. The Zoo is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily (last entry into the Zoo is 4 p.m.).
In Winston-Salem, the Reynolda House Museum of American Art will resume regular operating hours Tuesday and offer free admission to Florence evacuees.
The museum will offer evacuees from the storm one free admission with each purchased admission through Sunday, Sept. 30. In order to take advantage of the offer, visitors only need to share their zip code. For more information, you can visit reynolda@reynoldahouse.org
