LEXINGTON, NC (WFMY) - A Lexington woman is dead after she was shot and killed by a man on Lanie Creek Drive in Lexington Sunday according to deputies.
Investigators believe Gregory Kennedy shot and killed Wanda Taylor. Taylor, 50, was found dead inside a home on the 110 block of the drive.

Kennedy, 45, was charged with one count of Murder and is currently in the Davidson County Jail under no bond. Kennedy's court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
