WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The case has not only spanned Triad counties but also crossed state lines.
New details have emerged in the case of 86-year-old, Arzell Tuttle. His body was found on a plot of land in Fancy Gap, Virginia overnight Wednesday.
State Bureau of Investigation Special Agent, Scott Williams said the plot of land his body was found on, belonged to the family of Christian Willard. 20-year-old, Willard is charged with the murder of Arzell.
Furthermore, the SBI said that Tuttle and Willard "knew each other, saying this was 'not a random killing.''' The SBI could not elaborate on their connection because the investigation is ongoing.
Special Agent Williams also said they believe they have a motive, but cannot reveal it just yet.
Agent Williams says another arrest will be made in the case, saying it will not be another murder charge, but it will have to do with Tuttle's death. The arrest is expected to be made next week.
