House fire in Randolph County

The fire is now out, according to the East Side Fire Department.

A house fire occurred early on Sunday morning in Randolph County.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A house fire occurred early Sunday morning in Randolph County.

The East Side Fire Department and automatic aid responded to a reported house fire at the 4000 block of Little Beane Store Road. 

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found smoke showing from a one-story, wood-frame residence. Crews entered the house and located a fire in the utility room, which was extinguished. 

Firefighters checked for extension, ventilated, and performed overhaul operations.

The Randolph County EMS told WFMY News 2 there were no injuries in the fire. The East Side Fire Department also confirmed there were no injuries, and that the fire is now out.
