Missing endangered alert issued for High Point woman believed to have cognitive impairment

Rebecca Lopez Hernandez is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A missing endangered alert has been issued for a 58-year-old High Point woman by the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons.

Rebecca "Becky" Lopez Hernandez was last seen on Sherill Avenue in High Point around 10 a.m. on Sunday morning. She was wearing a white sweatshirt with NASA written on it and sweatpants with two stripes, according to a press release.

Lopez Hernandez is described as a Hispanic woman standing 5-foot-2 and 130 pounds with medium black hair and brown eyes. She normally wears her hair up, according to the release.

Lopez Hernandes is believed to suffer from a cognitive impairment.

Anyone with information about Lopez Hernandez' disappearance is encouraged to call OFC Perez at the High Point Police Department at 336-883-3224.
