HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point Police Department said they responded to a school bus crash at the intersection of College Drive and Ogden Street on Monday morning.

Police said they received a call about a crash with injuries.

High Point police said Guilford County EMS took two people who were on the bus to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers confirmed the bus driver involved in the crash was cited for failure to stop for a stop sign.

According to the police report, he was cited due to the fact that the driver had previously driven the route before and should have been aware of the traffic control at the very location the crash happened, despite there being a vehicle blocking it.
