HIGH POINT, NC - The three candidates who want to be mayor of High Point addressed concerns for city economics Tuesday night.
Some of the city's top business leaders say topics like cleaning gateways, encouraging public and private business partnerships, road infrastructure and support for local businesses are a top priority.
Guilford County Commissioner Bill Benicini, Jimmy Scott and State Representative Marcus Brandon all want the open seat. Former mayor Bernita Sims resigned and pleaded guilty to a felony earlier this year.
