Five other people were inside the home at the time. Police say and no charges will be filed on the victim for shooting in self-defense.

Detectives learned Lynch was dropped off at Thomasville Medical Center and responded to the hospital where they identified him as a suspect. Lynch was later transferred to Wake Forest Baptist. Lynch sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and walked out of Wake Forest Baptist Sunday morning. He was taken into custody Monday shortly before 5 p.m.
