Blaze at Archdale apartments displaces nearly 20 people: Fire department

An apartment fire broke out on Westbrook Court in Archdale on Sunday.

ARCHDALE, N.C. — Nearly 20 people have been displaced after a fire broke out at a group of apartments on Westbrook Court in Archdale on Sunday, according to the Guil-Rand Fire Department.

The High Point Fire Department said it assisted the Guil-Rand Fire Department in putting out the blaze, which caused damage to multiple units. Authorities said the fire took around an hour to put out.

There were no injuries, according to the Guil-Rand Fire Department. There is no information on how the fire started.
