HIGH POINT, N.C. — A two-alarm apartment fire displaced 13 people in High Point at 2:50 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to the High Point Fire Department.

The fire started on the second floor of an apartment complex on 167 West Hartley Drive. As the firefighters handled the fire, they were quickly ordered out due to roof integrity, the fire department said.

Luckily, no one was injured, firefighters said. Eight apartment units were damaged in the blaze.

The building is considered a total loss and condemned, according to  Deputy Chief Brian Evans.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
