Man killed in shooting on Hewitt Street, police confirm

Greensboro police said the shooting happened a little after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is dead after a shooting on the 3600 block of Hewitt Street at 2:33 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Cameron Lee, 24, was found on the scene unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts, police said Lee succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

This incident is being investigated as a homicide, police said.

There are no suspects at large, according to officers.
