75 workers to be laid off from Hanesbrands Inc. in High Point

The closure results from Hanesbrands Inc.'s recent sale of the Champion brand.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Hanesbrands Inc. is permanently closing its High Point Distribution Center facility on Friday, Jan. 31. 

The closure will impact 75 jobs, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice provided by the NC Chamber of Commerce.

The closure is due to Hanesbrands Inc.'s recent sale of the Champion brand to Authentic Brands Group.

The High Point facility's focus was distribution for the Champion brand.
