GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — The Guilford County School Board board's Guilford County Commissioners proposed $1.7 billion bond package to the ballot next March has passed.
The money will be used to complete the $2 billion master plan to renovate and repair dilapidated schools across the county. In 2020, voters approved a smaller school bond.
Guilford County Commissioner Skip Alston previously said they would make a decision on the bond at their Nov. 4 meeting.
Officials said the bond is to fund "additional projects".
