GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro honored those who have served our country with a parade on Saturday.
The parade was held in downtown Greensboro and started at 12 p.m. It began at North Elm Street and E. Lindsay Street.
The parade honored Gold Star and POW/MIA families, which represent those from all United States Armed Forces branches. Veterans from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War were honored too.
The parade featured high school marching bands, JRTOC units, clubs, organizations, and businesses along with military vehicles and floats.
The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 20 sponsored the parade and it was held in partnership with the city of Greensboro.
