Police identify Greensboro man killed in aggravated assault

Police responded to reports of shots fired at West Gate City Boulevard/South Holden Road early Tuesday morning.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said a man died following an aggravated assault early Tuesday morning. 

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the West Gate City Boulevard and South Holden Road area. Police said the victim, 26-year-old Devante Dino Coleman, of Greensboro, was transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries. Police have not said the nature of his injuries.
