The public is invited to pay respects to fallen Greensboro Police Sergeant Dale Nix on Thursday. A large showing is expected, so here's what you need to know if you want to attend.
Funeral service
The funeral is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Westover Church on Muirs Chapel Road.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you want to attend, get there early. The church can seat 3,500 people and will have overflow seating available.

Processional
The public can also view the processional as it leaves the funeral home on West Gate City Blvd and makes its way to Westover Church before the service begins. Below is a photo of the route that GPD will take. The public is asked to not be on Muirs Chapel Road to allow police to close the street and prepare for arrival at the church.
