GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man spent $1 on a Cash 5 ticket and hit the jackpot.
Mauris Matos bought the lucky ticket Monday at the Bessemer Stop on Bessemer Avenue.
That night, he hit the $246,260 Cash 5 jackpot.
He claimed his prize at lottery headquarters Tuesday. After taxes, he took home $176,255.
