GREENSBORO, N.C. — If you saw smoke on New Garden Road Friday, don't panic the Greensboro Fire Department is conducting a a live fire training.
The Greensboro Fire Department said they are conducting a live fire training on the 1800 block of New Garden Road Friday.
Greensboro Fire said these exercises will be for current firefighters to practice extinguishment, ventilation and search techniques.
The live fire training will begin 8 a.m. and end around 5 p.m.
Greensboro Fire warned heavy amounts of smoke may be present in the area, but should not pose hazards to the public.
All structures used for live fire training by the Greensboro Fire Department meet compliance with NC DENR-Air Quality and NC Public Health regulations.
