WFMY News 2 will continue to dig for answers about this situation, and keep you posted.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — WFMY News 2 got a closer look at an incident involving the Greensboro city manager.

Police records show officers responded to city manager Taiwo Jaiyeoba's home on Dec. 28 for what they called a family disorder.

The report lists the city manager and his two adult daughters and they are each listed as having apparent minor injuries.

911 calls from that night gave little insight into what may have happened

"He's trying to say that I hit him and pushed him and now his arm is broken. He's a very powerful man," someone is heard saying on the phone.

WFMY News 2 tried to talk with the city manager today. His office rejected our request.

Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan released a statement tonight.

She said there is no active law enforcement investigation.

Her statement said, in part:

"I have not received any information to cause me to call into question Mr. Jaiyeoba's character or fitness to serve as City Manager. [...] I consider this to be a family matter and Mr. Jaiyeoba is entitled to privacy, just as any family experiencing similar circumstances."

Councilman Zack Matheny said city council filed a court order for a limited release about the body camera footage from the night of the incident.
