GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Aquatic Center is hosting the 2026 American Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

GAC previously hosted the event in 2015.

"The Greensboro Aquatic Center is proud to be selected as the site of the 2026 American Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships," Greensboro Aquatic Center Manager David Hoover said. "We look forward to hosting this prestigious event for the first time since 2015 and welcoming the nine American member institutions to Greensboro and our state-of-the-art facility."

Three affiliate institutions, including James Madison University, Liberty University, and Marshall University are being added to the American Athletic Conference in women’s swimming and driving effective July 1, 2025.

In November, GAC was also selected to host the 2026 U.S. Masters Swimming Spring National Championship.
