GRAHAM, N.C. — If you are planning to go to the DMV in Graham this weekend, you might have to wait until Monday.
The fire department said no one was injured, but the office will be closed Friday and Saturday. Graham Fire Chief Tommy Cole told WFMY News 2 that a driver tried to stop the car with the brakes but they didn't work. However, it didn't impact the integrity of the building and the building is expected to reopen on Monday.
Our crew at the scene reports there's a large crack in the side of the building where the vehicle hit. No further details were released.
