Pink In The Park Returns To Downtown Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Downtown Greensboro will once again turn into a sea of pink for the 10th Annual Pink in the Park event.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Downtown Greensboro will once again turn into a sea of pink for the 10th Annual Pink in the Park event.

The very special 10th Annual Pink in the Park event will be held to honor, remember and celebrate those impacted by breast cancer.

This free event brings the Triad community together to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) while providing support, resources and education to those dealing with breast cancer.

Greensboro Imaging and The Breast Center of Greensboro Imaging sponsor this annual event.

Breast cancer touches lives every day—not only the lives of those diagnosed, but the lives of friends and family members as well.

Pink in the Park is a celebration of the strides being made to defeat breast cancer and a way to bring awareness to our community. It is also a way to honor and remember friends and loved ones who inspire us with their strength.

The ribbon wall at Pink in the Park grows quickly each year as new ribbons are added as symbols of solidarity and support of women in all stages of their journey with breast cancer. Greensboro Imaging also created a virtual ribbon wall online at pinkinthepark.com/ribbon-wall so ribbons can be created, viewed and shared all year long.

This year’s 10th anniversary of Pink in the Park will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

You can head to Center City Park, 200 N. Elm Street, in downtown Greensboro.
