GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Calling all ladies! The Greensboro Arm Wrestling League is hosting its second brawl of the season and you're invited to get in on the fun!
The Greensboro Arm Wrestling League (GRAWL) will host GRAWL Brawl II: Aunt Flo’s Summer Slamboree on Saturday, July 16 at Geeksboro, 2134 Lawndale Ave., Greensboro.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro. GRAWL will also use this event to collect feminine hygiene products that will be donated to local schools and shelters.
GRAWL is an all-volunteer organization with lady arm wrestlers who entertain the crowds while raising money for Greensboro nonprofits that serve women and girls.
Proceeds from ticket and GRAWLbux sales will go to the WRC, which assists local women who are in a time of transition by connecting them with community resources. The WRC helps women who are divorcing, returning to work, starting a business, dealing with financial difficulties or coping with family problems.
General admission is $6. VIP tickets, which include one free drink, a seat and a professional photo with the wrestlings, are $20 each. Doors open at 7 p.m. The brawl begins at 8 p.m.
Advanced tickets can be purchased online at http://geeksboro.com/grawl2.
