Gillespie Golf Course closed indefinitely after storm damage

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The City of Greensboro said Tuesday they're having the Gillespie Golf Course inspected and are working with insurance for repairs.

In the meantime, the golf course is working to find an alternate location to move the pro shop in order to resume operations.

PREVIOUS STORY:

The City of Greensboro announced Friday that the Gillespie Golf Course has been closed indefinitely.

This comes after a tree fell on the course's pro shop during Tropical Storm Debby.

According to a release, the damage will be analyzed next week. The public will be notified when the course reopens.
