GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- Investigators say they have an idea of the cause of a plane crash that killed well-known Triad business leader, Frank Mascia.
Mascia died in February after his small plane had difficulty shortly after take-off at the Air Harbor Airport off North Church Street.

A preliminary report says NTSB investigators are taking a close look at the fuel selector valve, which controls the flow of fuel on the plane.
Mascia was the CEO of United Health Care for close to 20 years. He also co-founded the Greensboro Police Foundation and helped police officers get body cameras.
